Meet Dr. Ava Gallagher—your go-to pediatric partner and proud native Texanl!

A Texas native from Brownsville, Dr. Gallagher earned her degree in Political Science from Rice University before following her passion for medicine at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. After completing her pediatric residency in Houston and practicing in Galveston and San Diego, she planted roots in Austin in 2012—and has been raising her family here ever since.

She’s board-certified in pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Texas Medical Association—so you can trust your little ones are in expert hands.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Gallagher loves cooking, running, and hanging out with her husband, Sean, their three kids, and their squad of pets.With Dr. Gallagher, you get more than a pediatrician—you get a trusted partner who gets family life because she’s living it too.
