Cacey Adams, MD, FAAP graduated high school in Guymon, Oklahoma then attended Texas Tech University. She graduated magma cum laude with honors in Biochemistry. She completed medical school and pediatrics residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Tx. She served as chief resident her final year of training. Dr. Adams worked as a pediatric hospitalist for newborn nursery and general pediatric services after completing her training. During her time in academic medicine, she helped educate medical students and residents. She participated in community outreach promoting healthy snack habits, diabetes camp, and was the physician leader for the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative efforts to promote breastfeeding success at Covenant Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Adams relocated to Austin in the summer of 2016. Dr. Adams is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Texas Medical Association. She is married to Dr. Clayton Adams and has two young sons. She enjoys cooking, reading and chasing after her boys.
