While many area hospitals offer a brief overview of basic newborn care, the 411 Pediatrics class provides a detailed how-to guide to help families prepare for the early days and weeks with your baby. Topics include making decisions such as cord blood banking, expanded newborn screening and circumcision, as well as newborn health issues, jaundice, breastfeeding challenges, immunizations, sleep safety, and soothing techniques from the pros (not to be missed!)
